Welcome to the College of Agricultural Sciences Intranet

In agriculture, we mark the passage of time as much by the changing of the seasons as we do by turning a calendar’s page. A chilly winter gives way to tempestuous spring with longer days, windy afternoons, greener pastures and, eventually, a cycle of warmer temperatures. A fresh breeze from the southwest is a reminder of the summer days to come.

We would not plant crops without the hope that they would grow. Dr. Raj Khosla knows this as much as anyone, descending from seven generations of farmers. So, when Dr. Khosla reached out to a struggling undergraduate and invited him to be his graduate student, an offer that exceeded the student's wildest expectations, that student's life was forever impacted by the kindness, generosity, and belief of Dr. Khosla.

That is core to what agriculture stands for. Belief. Belief that the crops we sow will reap in the harvest. Belief that what we are doing is good. Belief that the people around us are more capable than their wildest dreams. Come to the Table.
