What experiences did you enjoy most as a student? I was a non traditional student and enjoyed meeting other graduate students, going to conferences, taking field trips, and doing my research.
What clubs/student organizations were you involved in? Gillette Entomology Club
What advice do you have for current students in the College of Ag? Start job hunting two years before graduation or do an internship.

First job after graduation: post-doc at the University of Western Australia
Why did you choose the College of Ag? The opportunities to study agronomy, plant breeding, and water use
What experiences did you enjoy most as a student? I studied abroad at the University of Sydney, and was able to have a great experience and learn about different agricultural systems.
What clubs/student organizations were you involved in? Agronomy Club, Alpha Gamma Rho, ASCSU
What advice do you have for current students in the College of Ag? Get involved and take advantage of the opportunities to expand your education beyond the classroom.
Hometown: Pocatello, Idaho during my youth; Blackfoot, Idaho from 1954 forward
Current employer: Retired, pioneered B Bar B leather, opening in 1961, my wife, Gay, and I operated the business and I founded the business & operated it for 33 years, at which time my three sons: Jeff, Shawn and Kelly, took it over
What was your first job after graduation? Began to compete in rodeo professionally on a nationwide basis, continuing to do so on a part time basis after opening the shop in 1961
Why did you choose the College of Ag? Transferred to Colorado A&M when the University of Idaho no longer could accommodate my interests in agriculture and rodeos
What clubs/student organizations were you involved in? Livestock and Rodeo Clubs
What advice do you have for current students in the College of Ag? Don’t waste a moment of your lives and follow your desires!
